Today was Myles's birthday. Lots of fun. Lots of excitement. Our work right now is all focused on community building. We are learning to follow the 4 rules of our team- be kind, be respectful,be safe, and try and have fun!

Ideas we are cultivating involve community units and how a team is different than a family or a class. We are also working on using "random" selection for turn taking. We use dice, coins, shuffle option and even a random number generator.

We are working on saving our emergency voices for true emergencies and ways to allow everyone to have a power and responsibility commiserate with their age and ability. All 3 kids are being asked to cooperate outside of their comfort. The growth is lovely.
