Wow, way to get to my heart. You would have been so proud of your sweet son yesterday. He is the voice of reason and fairness. I lost my cookies when several kids just wiped their mess on the floor instead of actually helping. It struck me as so incredibly disrespectful, I called a class meeting and we had a deep discussion. The talk turned to lunch recess and the 'Land of NO' which is the way some kids feel about the strict policies of the ladies monitoring lunch recess. Myles said, "Mrs. Reichel lives in my neighborhood, and she actually is a really nice person. She even has kids!" It was adorable, and it added the thought that everyone has a life outside school, and sometimes that life affects your school persona (as in the case of bullies).
