Solids

Today marks two important Milestones: 1st-- tooth #2 broke the surface making his smile extra cute and his day extra rough.

Also, we decided to start letting Myles try tasting some solid foods. Being Dr. Sears fans, we started with the recommended apples and breast milk& rice delight. Here are a few shots highlighting this important event. Granny Lou, I know you will be pleased!

6 months

Myles's 6 month birthday has been marked by many exciting events. On April 10th, he got his first tooth. The last week of his 5th month also marked the first frequent and accurate use of the signs "milk" and "more."

Things have changed a lot for Mom and Dad, too. We made the commitment to have me home for the next few years. We also decided to move to hopefully a slightly larger house with a slightly improved mortgage situation.

Trying to move with a 6th month old has been a lot of work. Thankfully, Myles is a joyful baby who loves adventure. We are also fortunate that we have family that support us every step of the way.

Granny and Myles reading. Granny is great at caring for her special boy!A moment's break from planting in the yard. Grandma is always game for a set of baby push ups.

Do you think he is ready for solids?

Myles is just riding easy with all the changes!
