Mother's Day

Mother's Day was very special this year, given it was my first ever as an actual honoree. We spent the majority of the day getting ready for the final showing of the house , but we did take time to participate in a marade honoring the roots of Mother's Day as a day of activism and a call for peace. Mason was excited to when he heard that you are supposed to play instruments and wear funny hats for the marade, but Myles wasn't so sure...
We convinced Myles to give it a go, and I think he looked adorable!

The hat and the baby didn't last long, but Dad was happy to keep the spirit going!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mothers out there. Your work is beautiful!

Love,

allyson

A barrel full of Monkeys!

Sunday was a big day for Myles. We started with his 6 month photo shoot in downtown Boulder. Then we made our way to the zoo. Myles absolutely went Ape Crazy over the animals. Here he is having fun with some monkeys.

4 Generations

After swim lessons we headed up to Cloud 9 in Estes Park. We had a picture perfect afternoon together as a family. Myles played with his great-grandpa and great-grandma (A.K.A PJ and MJ), cooed and snuggled with his grandpa Steve and his granny Lou, pleased his mother and father, and seemed to enjoy himself a great deal as the single member of his generation at the party. It was really special.
