When placed with the challenge of how to get vital information to Santa, she draws upon the whole "he sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake" philosophy.
So she just tells him real-time what she wants! She reads out the part number and price, and just like Amazon Prime, there's a whole shopping cart, ready for Christmas morning!
