Mommy's Christmas Present, Part 1

Myles, Rosie, and I made a surprise gift for Allyson this year. I had to seize the moments I got while she was away to film this, but I think it came out pretty good:

Cowboy boots, lip gloss, ballerina skirt, and bow to compliment each
hand selected piece. She did it herself.

Rosie has a solid fever and has been sick since Sunday. Still, she just
Sobbed when Myles left for the show. She grabbed her jacket and tried to make a break for it. Her compassionate mom comforted her after she snapped this beauty

A day each year

A quiet fall day each year we play in leaves and try and compost our
silver maple's ample shedding. This year Myles earned $8- $1 a bag,
Rosie $3 as his assistant. My time was volunteered. It was a quiet,
calm afternoon.

Rosie wanted to be like mommy so she put a wet towel on her head after
a shower but refused to give it up after the shower. She also kept her
toothbrush on and in hand. This is how we left for school this am.

We went to a wedding of a friend of Mason, Melissa and myself today.
It was such a fun day/ night. Don't the kids look cute :)!

With 40 mins to kill before getting Myles we walked into a salon for
Rosie's 1st haircut. It's choppy but she is beautiful.

My Father's Day present: an XBOX 360, Star Wars edition!

I wouldn't call myself a gamer, but the Kinect made the game way more accessible to Myles, and we were all hot and sweaty when we finished our session.

It's funny, but I got so into it that I injured my feet by playing barefoot on that hard floor. I definitely need to take it more seriously and wear the proper footwear next time.

And let's hear it for Tal for being game for a little Rancor Rampage with Myles inbetween study sessions!
