"Daddy, can God make me into a train?"
This was followed by angry tears when I told him that God didn't work that way. "Besides," I said, "Mommy and I would miss you. If you were a train you couldn't come to our house, you'd have to sleep outside on the train tracks."
The response: "I don't want a house! I want to sleep outside!"

Has he been on the Amtrak yet? (Can you take the Amtrak from Denver??) Haven LOVES to ride the train. We're taking it home for Thanksgiving- woo hoo! I bet if he knew how fun it is to ride a train, he might not want to be one so much!!
