We're back from our trip to the Northwest! We had a lot of fun wandering the streets of Seattle--note the various piggies we encountered in our travels--and spent some quality time visiting friends in Bellingham as well.
A huge thank you goes out to Heidi, Tal, Nathan, Jenn, William, Nicole, Haven, Owen, Mowgli, and Bodhi for organizing a most splendid 30th birthday, complete with embarrassing personalized photos and extravagant handmade cake.
We spent our time in Seattle seeing some things that I remember enjoying when I lived there, and I was surprised to find that it is as cool a city as I remember. We got to see the Pike St. Market, the Seattle Center (which has amazing Music and Science Fiction museums), Pioneer Square, Greenlake, and my old neighborhood.
Bellingham was beautiful, and we got to play croquet by the ocean while listening to a live hip-hop band, as well as play music by a bonfire and see the mysterious flasher in Teen Wolf.
All in all, a trip that can't be beat.

We loved having you so much!!! We only wish you could have stayed longer! Oh, and don't forget about the bus... accommodations of champions!
